         In Historic Downtown Norcross.

Founded in 1870, Norcross was the first City in Gwinnett County to be included on the National Register of Historic Places. Originally known as a resort community just north of Atlanta, Norcross attracted visitors, residents, and business owners wanting to be near the new railroad.

Today, Norcross is an active and vibrant community that attracts people of all ages wanting to experience its unique charm, fine restaurants, magnificent parks, specialty shops, and spectacular events that are scheduled throughout the year.

Norcross continues to be recognized regionally for its charming community, quality lifestyle, and great food, music, and art. Norcross was recently awarded Gwinnett Magazine's "Best of Gwinnett" Readers Choice Awards for:

  1. Best Downtown
  2. Best Arts and Cultural Scene
